This little cutie is the daughter of one of my good friends. I’ve been looking forward to this session ever since we planned it – I knew it would be a blast. After some stress from my studio light deciding not to work (why does that stuff always happen at the worst times???) we moved the entire session outside and let Miss M. have some fun. My friend baked & decorated the cake herself…such a good, creative mama! She even brought some cupcakes to share with those of us not lucky enough to get to eat cake with our hands. I still have lots of images to process, so I’ll just post one for now.

Sunday evening I met up with J. & his parents for a birthday mini-photo session. J. is such a happy, charming guy…he made my job very easy! We found a pretty area in Zachary with gorgeous lighting for photos. Thankfully we finished the session about 3 minutes before the rain started & now that my power & internet are back on I can finally share some pics. I hope you all made it through the hurricane safely. Enjoy!

Thursday morning I met up with M. & her mom for a birthday photo shoot. M. was such a cutie & was so excited to explore & have her picture taken. She had the cutest dress and I love that her mom brought balloons to match her Elmo shirt. Her mom is such a trooper, too…she pulled M. around in the wagon & ran around chasing her in the heat, all while pregnant. I had so much fun with you guys. Enjoy your sneak peek!
