Brooke {6 days} | Baton Rouge Newborn Photographer

Meet Brooke, the beautiful baby girl I photographed yesterday. At 6 days she’s the youngest newborn I’ve photographed in a while, and I’d nearly forgotten what a difference it makes to photograph them so young! She slept almost the entire time and barely made a sound until the very end when she decided it was time to be left alone.

Chatting with her parents brought back many memories of those first days after having my oldest son and all the excitement and wonder (and sleep-deprivation!) that go along with such a precious time. I feel incredibly honored each time I get to spend a few hours with a new family and capture some of those memories for them.
